Well I managed to get some sleep on the flight which is not something I often do, I'd say something like 30 minutes here and 30 minutes there, but some sleep is better than none. Unfortunately 1 passenger I wish did sleep didn't, I child who spent the majority of the flight screaming and whining.

The meals were pretty average on the plane, I did enjoy the dinner which was a 4 cheese ravioli with beef bolognese, but in my opinion the AirNZ meals are normally better.

I spent the majority of the flight watching a TV series called The Pitt, I was hoping it would be the entire season but no... Just 10 episodes which I managed to polish off before the flight had landed, but the last 5 episodes didn't even show in their system, I guess this means I'll need to wait until I'm back home to finish watching the last 5 episodes.

Once I finished those it took me a while to find something else looking interesting enough to watch that I haven't seen yet. I settled on one called Duster, not sure yet what I think of it, but I'll give it more time.

After landing I headed to the Skytrain which took me to the arrival and transfer terminals. The intent was to go into the city of Singapore, but after getting off the flight I realised I was to tired to do that tonight. Especially after roaming my way through all the airport terminals. Finally I reached what they call The Jewel, It's like a giant mall with a massive Vortex Waterfall, apparently there is a canopy walk as well which you can do, if I decide to do that, I'll likely wait until tomorrow.

The shops at The Jewel are mainly just clothing and food shops, nothing really that nterests me, although I did get a kick out of this place that had giant plastic Lego figures, probably about half a meter in height each.

I decided to find some accomodation for the night, not cheap, the website said it was about SGD 240, but then going to the checkout there was tax on that... Turns out that pricing was also for club members, I ended up paying SGD 310 which I think is somewhere around NZD $420 for one night... And wait until you see the size of the room (next photo)... Tiny, somewhere around 5x5 meters, I think I'd go as far as saying its smaller than any Japanese place I've stayed and those can get pretty small... On the plus side, it does have all the essentials. Shower, toilet, sink, bed, TV and free wifi.

I think I'll try catch up on some sleep, while it's only 8:35pm here, it's 12:35am back in NZ, and I've only had about an hours sleep since 6am NZ time, so I've been awake something like 17 hours
