Today headed to Ho Chi Minh City where we will spend the next few days until we start our Boat Cruise.

An hours drive to the Airport from our hotel, it seemed a little odd, leaving Hoi An driving to Da Nang and having no idea where one city ended and where the other one began. It was like they were really just one city despite them being seperate.

Arrived at the airport and after a long wait in the line to get our tickets, we finally proceeded through security... I'm fairly sure this was the first time I've had to take my shoes off at the airport security gate, and I have travelled over seas a few times. We had some lunch at the airport and waited for our flight to start boarding. Our flight was suppose to be boarding at 1:50, however a different flight was boarding at this time. Our flight ended up being delayed for boarding by about an hour, which also meant our flight didn't take off until an hour after it was due to. I would say that the airline we used (Vietjet) was like flying with Jetstar, average seats, you had to pay for food and drinks and just like Jetstar, the flight was delayed. As we were coming into land we had a great view overlooking the Mekong River.

After landing and been taken to our hotel to check in, we got together quickly and made our way down the road to get something to eat, it was raining a bit so thankfully we found a spot 2 doors down from the hotel. After dinner we were offered a free thing of ice creme if we just reviewed the restaurant, our waiters were insistent that we mentioned them, Andrew and Tom in the review.

It was back to the hotel where I got in a gym workout which made feel like I at least did something today, tomorrow James and I are heading to the Cu Chi Tunnels so we have a seminearly start tomorrow.
