Well, it's that time again, off overseas again with my travel buddy. This time we head to Peru, somewhere I've been wanting to go for a while.
After arriving to Auckland we made our way to the International Airport, surprising within just a couple of minutes we ran into 4 of the guys from Jiu Jitsu who had just arrived back from 2 weeks of training in Japan.
Upon arriving at the International terminal we were advised that our flight to Santiago had been delayed by just over 2 hours, great thing about that... Free food, due to the wait they gave us a $15 voucher that we could use at the food court. Needless to say, I decided I'd get something I possibly won't see for a while "KFC", on the off chance my personal trainer Trev is reading this, don't worry, I'll burn that off with all the walking I'll be doing the next 4 weeks.
Decided last minute to buy a new camera, I thought I would get something that was waterproof, I regretted not having one last year, so figured bite the bullet and get me one. Unfortunately they didn't have the ones in stock I wanted, so had to settle for one without GPS location... A shame, it would be great to be able to plot the location for the photos automatically.
As I was paying for it and the camera case I got, the guy said "Oh, with this your going to look like a terrorist", I was like... "What, you can't say that word here", he then realised his mistake "Oh I meant tourist". We then joked a little how some do look like the other.
Well, we are on board the plane now, ready to head off to Santiago before catching our plane to Peru, this flights twelve and a half hours, so not really looking forward to my window seat for all that time, but I guess I'll sleep some of that.
Next update will be from Peru.
